The Kensington Democratic Club (KDC) works closely with the Democratic Party of Contra Costa County in the endorsement process. In 2022, we interviewed candidates for local Kensington offices as well as a candidate for BART Director.
In a nutshell, the endorsement process is for Democratic candidates to submit applications and be interviewed by the KDC board and interested members. If selected, there is an endorsement vote by the active membership. The KDC then supports its endorsed candidates.
The 2022 endorsement cycle is completed. We congratulate the newly seated Kensington office holders.
The 2024 Election
Coming Up!
Endorsements for the 2024 election cycle will start in early August 2024. We welcome applications from Democrats who wish to be considered for endorsement for local office.
